Start of Construction in Portugal
On July 29, 2019, the construction of the first project in Portugal started. The installation team, which will have a peak number of 80 people, started in Amareleja with the ramming of the first module tables and the building of roads. Up to 8 ram machines are in operation for the installation of the photovoltaic plant that will have an installed power of 17.5 MWp. The construction area has a size of approx. 35 hectares, which is equivalent to around 49 football pitches. In total, approx. 47,000 modules will be installed in Amareleja. This is equivalent to an area of 94,000 sq m. The sum of all used cables will have an impressive length of 300 kilometres. The construction of the photovoltaic plant in Amarelaja is expected to be completed and put into operation in December 2019.
