Last Site of PV pipeline in Portugal grid-connected
In January 2022, the last of in total six PV plants in Portugal has been connected to the grid. The PV plant, located in Lagos, has a total installed power of 49 MWp and will generate around 86,500 MWh of environmentally friendly electricity per year.
The entire PV pipeline project with a total capacity of 195 MWp over all six sites is now successfully completed. Approx. 520,000 monocrystalline modules and 2,074 string inverters have been installed on the sites in Amareleja, Ferreira do Alentejo, Cartaxo, Santarém, Moura and Lagos. The Portuguese PV pipeline will generate around 330,000 MWh of environmentally friendly electricity per year.
