Barwice Wind Farm goes into Operation
After one year of construction, the Barwice wind farm with a total installed power of 42 MW, goes into operation in Poland. The scheduled construction and grid connection date have been met, despite a series of bad weather days and of course the emerging coronavirus pandemic making the completion even more difficult.
The wind farm consists of 14 turbines, each with a hub height of 115 m, a rotor diameter of 113 m and an output of 3 MW. The first kilowatt hours have already been fed into the network during the test phase.
WiNRG took over the coordination of due diligence (LDD & TDD) for the project, the conduct of contract negotiations including closing and supervision of the installation. Following commissioning, WiNRG takes over the commercial management, asset management and reporting for the wind farm.
